I think we are all in anticipation of this coming years produce and yummy greens, tomatoes, and cucumbers grown here in our area!

As I look out the window all I see is BROWN and more BROWN.  Here at the farm we've had hardly any moisture and hope that March will turn that around.  The garlic is tucked in the ground waiting and Ricky spent hours online ordering all the seeds to start soon.

We will keep you posted as we approach planting and growth.  We look forward to seeing you all in July at Market and of course we'll be selling to Big Hollow and Sweet Melissa's. 

Tonight's menu:


saute sweet potato, leek, garlic, parsnips, gold beets and carrots (chopped) in a bit of olive oil with about 1-2 T. of curry powder

add 4 cups vegetable broth

simmer until veggies soft

add 2 cups chopped fresh kale and allow to wilt

season with salt and pepper
